U2 work in Mysterious ways! They have reportedly turned down the option of appearing in games previously but now explain how they would be interested in joining the pixel club, under the right conditions - From a USA Today interview:
"We definitely would like to be in there, but we felt some of the compromises weren't what we wanted. That could change. I love the idea that that's where people are getting music, and we'd love to be in that world. We'll figure something out. What The Beatles have done, where the animation is much more representative of them, is what we're interested in, rather than the one-size-fits-all animation. We didn't want to be caricatured." - Adam Clayton

Whose 'Rogue Trooper' you say? He is the mean, Blue, fighting machine that comes from the pages of 2000AD and is the scourge of NU Earth. The easiest way to describe him is 'Zarjaz'! Anyway he is comin to the Wii before christmass in the 'Quartz Zone Massacre' (click for the really nicly done website). It is rumoured that he might be dropping onto other platforms but for now thats just a dream. I dare to dream!
Iv played the demo for this on Xbox live and it fookin rocks! Not too blown over by the actual game play but the look, feel and humour of it all is just class. If your a Metal Head ya will love it, for other (sissy) music lovers ya best try out the demo first!! In the meantime here's some Multi player stuff... Rockin in Roctober!
