Assassin's Creed II - Bonfire of the Vanities DLC Trailer

Well, the second DLC for Assassins Creed is available from today, check the trailer below for what to expect. There appears to be two versions of this, the 'Sequence 13: Bonfire of the Vanities' for 320msp and the 'Sequence 13 : Bonfire of the Vanities & Secret Locations' at 560msp. The more expensive one contains content that was originally released with the collectors addition, so keep that in mind before spending the dosh. There appears to be no achievements on this one either which is a shame...

Anyway, I'm sure the experience will be enjoyable but maybe next time they can include levels in the frikin' game instead of taking them out and then screwing us for more money at a later date! Shame on you Ubisoft.

Fable 3 X10 Dev Diary

I think Peter Molyneux is a genius based on his portfolio alone (Syndicate, Populous Fable, etc.) Check out the Fable 3 Dev Diary to get an idea of what to expect and to see Mr M doing his best mad genius scientist impressions! He is a Mad Genius you know!

Halo Reach Video Diary - Unto the Breach

This gives a pretty good idea of what to expect from Halo Reach. Apparently it's gonna look ten times better than any Halo game to date, but what caught my interest was the mention of a 'sandbox' environment... Could truly be a new kind of Halo game eh! Check out this Dev Diary for juicy bits and bobs, it's worth it.

Red Dead Redemption to include randomly generated events

In a recent interview with GameSpot, Rockstar San Diego technical director Ted Carson talked about some of the play mechanics to be featured in Redemption. While most are calling it simply a western-themed Grand Theft Auto, Carson claims that Red Dead’s inclusion of unique, randomly generated “dynamic events” will do much to differentiate it from GTA.

"..there are countless ambient, completely dynamic events to discover. You might meet an official needing help apprehending escaped criminals that were being transported, or a woman being attacked by an unwanted suitor, or you might be attacked by a bear. All of these are contextual, depending on where you are in the world, the time of day, even what you may be wearing at the time (some outfits aren't just cosmetic and play a very important part in the way the world reacts to you)."
