Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Single player Trailer

We have had some info on the multi player but little on the single player. Here's a little peek into that... not a big peek... just a little one. Good though!

More leaked Halo: Reach pics

In case you haven't guessed, we at Reaper Gaming are more than a little partial to the Halo series. Hence, we follow up our earlier story on the leaked Reach video with some newly released imagery (courtesy of EB Games). Some of the shots were seen previously as part of the Game Informer magazine article last week. However these shots will require less squinting (and imagination) to appreciate. Click on the images for even bigger images. Enjoy.

Halo Reach - Leaked Beta vid

Somebody took their finger out of the Bungie dam and sprung a leak accidentally on purpose, I'm a bit suspicious of this but if its real all we can take from it is the 'Murder mode'... and that's all really. Much a do about nothing but ya might as well have a look.

Sony delays its motion control thingy...

Sony are on the back foot again and have announced a delay with its new motion controller (Rumoured name: GEM), instead of sticking to a Spring 2010 launch it has now dropped to Fall 2010... If it is worth the wait then great!! Here's what Kaz Hirai, Sony ET boss had to say: "We will continue to work to have a comprehensive portfolio of attractive and innovative games for the Motion Controller, not only from SCE Worldwide Studios but also from the third party developers and publishers, whom we have been working closely with. We look forward to soon unveiling the exciting software line-up that further expand and define the PS3 platform as the ultimate entertainment system for the home" - Me thinks this is code for... 'Natal isn't out till Christmas 2010 so we don't want to shoot our load too soon before that, we'd prefer to wait so we can rub the competition's face in a big pile of shit...' or something like that.

Mass Effect 2 - Sci Vs Fi Documentary.

Well, the big Xbox hitter Mass Effect 2 is gracing our screens in the next few weeks and to add to the steamroller marketing campaign the SciFi Channel or newly named Syfy... (errr what!?) will be running a documentary on Mass Effect 2. It actually looks quite interesting and has 'expert' opinions from actors and big game community people. It will kick off tonight in the United states at 11PM EST/PST and 10PM middle-time. As for the rest of the world, just keep your eyes peeled on the TV guides... or get it off YouTube after. Here's a taster...

Megadeth Guitar Hero... Countdown to Excitement!

Well, as with all of the great Dave Mustain's achievements he is driven by his past with Metallica and it looks like Megadeth will now follow in his rivals footsteps yet again. Word is that Mustain has had a chat with Activision and things look good for a Megadeth Guitar Hero... sweet!!
His comments were: "I have recently had two very important high-level meetings with the people from Activision and Neversoft, and we are talking about a lot of things,".
Big plans seem to be afoot according to Dave - "But a Guitar Hero box set is not as attractive to me and the people from Guitar Hero as the new idea that they offered me, as the creative stuff that we are talking about is over-the-moon!" Hmmm, trying to get one over on the Metallica game methinks, good for you!
There are a few doubts that this will take off - "I just hope that someone doesn't stand in the way of this happening. I know that there are a lot of really damaging results from our mothership (Warner) having some legal disputes with YouTube and Guitar Hero to name just a few." - but hopefully we'll see that big 'Vic' skull head on a game box soon! It will sell... everyones gonna be buying!

GTA Chinatown Wars is now on iPhone...

You may not have heard about this as there was no warning it was coming, but GTA Chinatown Wars is now available to download on your iPhone. Apparently its a very good port of the DS version and includes all the 'touch screen' mini games. I'm not a big fan of iPhone games and this looks like a frikkin nightmare to control, but if you are into this kind of gaming then good luck and enjoy!
