E3 - Let the madness begin!!

All seasoned gamers know what 'E3' is because its where we get our first real taste of the goody games to come and quite often 'surprise' announcements are revealed. Its like a gamer Christmas... in the summer... with lots of weirdos doing Cos Play. As a lil run up to the event we thought that you guys and gals would like to see just a few of the hyped games that are set to strip off and run naked at the event so check out the vids below.

Don't forget E3 kicks off for June 6th and will be covered across all gaming news sites. Personally I recommend the following to watch it on - Epic Battle Axe - Giant Bomb - G4TV - and Gametrailers.com. Also, Spike TV will be covering the event in a more 'exclusive' manner. Of course we will also be doing our best to bring you the highlights. God, I love games!!

Curiouser and Curiouser - Alice: Madness Returns New Story Trailer

Alice! a childish story take,
And with a gentle hand
Lay it where Childhood's dreams are twined
In Memory's mystic band,
Like pilgrim's withered wreath of flowers
Plucked in a far-off land.

Things are not going well for Alice it appears, it seems her previous journeys into Wonderland have fried her brain box somewhat or perhaps the years of ingesting massive amounts of Mescaline have finally caught up with her. Either way, in this new story teaser trailer from EA and Spicy Horse we find Lewis Carroll's creation under going some much needed therapy, but lets just say this session isn't going as well as it might have.

Alice: Madness Returns is due for release on 14th and 16th of June on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Alice: Madness Returns - Now With 100% Extra Alice - Game to Ship with Original Title

In an interview today, creator of the cult classic, America McGee's Alice, has revealed that its follow up, Madness Returns, will include a DLC code to redeem the original title for free. As of June 2010 Alice had sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide in the ten years since its release on the PC and can now be experienced on the Xbox 360 and PS3 via this much welcomed DLC. Although not official this maybe an indication of how EA will use its online pass feature, perhaps enticing gamers to purchase older titles rather than waiting for them to hit the pre-owned shelves. There is also something for those amongst you who like playing "dress up" with your Avatars, with further DLC for Alice in the form of dresses with special powers. Alice: Madness Returns from EA is released on PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Mac on June 14th in the USA and June 16th in Europe.

Battlefield 3 trailer - In your face... literally!

Check out this latest trailer vid for Battlefield 3 - Lots of shooting and shit, but theres also a bit of puncy, puncy going on too. Looks like you'll be able to open a can o woop-ass on the baddies by throwing a few slaps around. Mind you, a knife would have been just as useful... Overall, B3 is looking pretty promising!

Battlefield 3 - Trailer 2 - Snipers blow your balls off!!

Snipers... you either love em or hate em, either way there is no argument that they can be deadly. A 50 kal to the melon would not be pleasant, so best stay low... Battlefield 3 - You're in Good Company!

Check out below, some of the first gameplay footage for the oncoming Battlefield 3 - now kiddies, that's not to be confused with the 'Bad Company' Battlefield games, this is a step back to the real BF daddy from the PC days. It looks very realistic and quite immersing, that said so did the new Medal of Honour at this stage... hopefully EA have learned a few lessons since then. It will have single player, co-op and of course multi player modes. As a US marine, single player will have you in different world locations such as Paris, Tehran and New York... so pack your aftershave. It's boasting up to 64 online players on the PC which is cool and is set to come out this Autumn. Now the only question left to ask is... What is Activision going to do? Hmm...

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Police Cars and Helicopters

Here are two new trailers showing some of the machinery the boys in blue will have at their disposal in the upcoming EA/Criterion Need For Speed racer. With Lamborghinis and Bugattis as interceptor cars these guys are not messing about. The Demo will be available to download on October 26th for the xbox 360 and on the PS3 with the game set for a release date of November 16th.

Medal of Honor - Danger Close Trailer - Its so Real!

The latest news that EA have backed down and renamed the 'Taliban' to 'Insurgents', or some suck cak, doesn't take away the fact that this game looks very realistic and pretty kick ass! Check out this 'Danger Close' trailer below and you will see what I mean, especially at the end... Ka-Boom! Why don't the just call the baddies 'Durka Durkas'?! Works for me!

Take out some real life Tali-dudes with the old sniper boomstick or just lavish them in air strikes, either way its fun! Looking nice and gritty this one, cant wait to pop a cap into Osama's minions! This ones for tower two you dirty lil terrorist -Boom!

Dead Space 2 Multiplayer!! Looking good!

They say in space no one can hear you scream... well now you can be heard screaming, burping, farting or whatever because your buddies will be right behind you as you team up for some multi player action in Dead Space 2. It looks like they have taken a leaf out of Left 4 Dead's multiplayer style book, but this is no bad thing and it seems as if this is going to be a slower but tense experience than the normal shooters. Check out the vid below to get a taste of this space horror, and watch out for flying guts, yummy! Burp!

Fifa 11 trailer... Here we go again.

EA releasing a new edition of every sports title every year is about as sure a thing as Paris Hilton getting smashed and appearing in sex videos, it's just going to happen! So now we have Fifa 2011 and the big question is, whats new? Well so far we know you can play as a goalie in a 11 v 11 match and in the Pro mode I imagine as well... Also is a re-worked passing system that is said to do away with the 'ping pong' passing and now involves more skillful play, which is good. Then theres... oh that's it really. Little bit of polish and minor updates to visuals but nothing drastic. All new bits are being labeled as 'Personality' features. Lots of cool vids and full details on the official Fifa 2011 website or just check out the trailer below for a taste.

So more of a '.5' update than anything major I recon. Hopefully the best bits that were included in 2010 Fifa World Cup will make it into this new installment. The big white elephant in the room of course is, will Pro Evo 2011 be better this year? Its not impossible...

Dragon Age 2 trailer - Nice!

With GamesCon 2010 on in Germany I'm sure there will be lots of reveals over the coming days. Dragon Age 2 is one of them and although there is no in-game play, this is looking really nice, setting the tone well I recon. Its due to hit us March 8th 2011. Now, gimme an axe so I can split some brains!

Medal of Honor - The good and the Bad...

Its nearly here, and GTTV has a pretty major exclusive on all aspects of the game, including the beards. Lots to see here (vid below), plenty of in game play and details on how they made the game, good shit!
Also check out this link for a fox news report on the game. As much as I would like to say that the woman giving out is just another PTA full of shit retard, I cannot. I think she actually has a point... That said, all these wars are fought in the name of Democracy and Freedom of Speech... that includes Game Developers right, oh the irony!

EA open up in Galway, Ireland

A great Evil has shadowed our lands... Just kidding, its EA not Activision after all... If your thinking 'yay, I always wanted to make games' then stop! The EA office opening in Galway is a call center for Europe. Although that's not as exciting a prospect as them actually doing game development, it is a big step in the right direction. It will also create 200 well needed jobs plus it will bring Ireland further into the spotlight of the games industry overall. EA in London - Dev promos for the Big ones.

EA were in London last week showcasing the goodies. Courtesy of G4 here are the Dev promos below for Medal of Honour, Star Wars Knights of the old republic and Dead Space 2. All look pretty cool. Wonder if they will have the newly promised EA 'screw your customers out of money while killing the used game market' feature by their time of release?! I dont see that Dev video anywhere...Hmm.

It look like EA are going for a more in depth type approach for the new Medal of Honor reboot. This trailer puts a real slap of realism on a current issue for many Ally troops, this just might turn out to be a case of art imitating life. Should be a hell of a game!

Battlefield Bad Company 2 VIP Map Pack 2 - Trailer

Here's a trailer for a new map pack coming for Battle Field Bad Company 2 - VIP Map Pack 2, looks like more of the same really with perhaps the jungle map being a break from the norm. I suppose it depends on if they are free as rumoured but I cant see Xbox live allowing that... of course if you buy the game brand new then you get the code... good incentive eh!

Modern Warfare 2 - 'Mapathy' TV ad.

More Modern Warfare 2 Map info for ya. The campaign run by Infinity Ward is all to do with "Mapathy". There is even an official site set up for it where you can take the quiz to see if you are a suffer of this terrible blight. 'Mapathy' is defined as:MORE MONEY THAN BRAINS!!! (Not the official interpretation, just mine). Actually the real definition is at the start of the vid below.
