Alan Wake - DLC Dated!

For European Xbox fans Alan Wake hits the shelves today (14th May 2010) but our poor American cousins have another week to wait unfortunately (18th May).
Makes no sense to me but Im not complaining cos tonight I intend to turn off all the lights, lock the doors and scare the shit out of myself! Might even watch a spookie flick first, just to up the thrill!

However, we can all look forward to July 27th when the first DLC will be released and it will be called 'The Signal'. It will apparently have about fifteen minuets of game play... WHAT!? Sound like a crock of shit to me too but I guess we will have to see, Oi Remedy, sort it out! The good news is that if you buy the original game brand new this DLC will come as free, otherwise you will be required to pay to play - Big deal! I feel a rant coming on...

Red Dead Redemption - Offical Launch Trailer - YeHaa!!

Well there is just one week to go before Red Dead Redemption hits the shelves and I must say my britches are getting wet with anticipation. New Counter Strike Source Beta!!!

Now, if I had to pick one shooter to rule them all then this would be it, Counter Strike! It is truly a drug of a game and probably the most accurate skill test for any FPS fan! No puffs allowed!!
Valve are now releasing a beta that will update CSS and bring it up to date. The Beta will include:
- 144 achievements added
- New lifetime player stats and summary screens
- New match player stats and summary screens
- New end of round display with MVP and interesting fact about a player
- Updated scoreboard with new icons, visual style, MVP stars, and avatar pictures
- New cinematic death camera - New domination and revenge system
- Added avatar icons to voice chat, scoreboard, and end of round display
- Incorporated many source engine updates

Now if I was a betting ghoul then I would say that this is the first step in making Counter Strike more console friendly, which can only be a good thing right? Lets just not mention the dodgy release on the original xbox... oops, just did!

Fallout Fan Movie... Never trust a Hooker!!

Check out this little flick, its based on the idea of Fallout 3... although it could be any post Apocalyptic setting really. All the same, its a good effort and worth a watch! Nice try chaps but next time chuck in a few ghouls and maybe even a few more hookers... doing more stuff, know what I mean!?
