Gamer Expo - 29th - 31st of October. Tickets are going like Hot Cakes!!!

Its Irish! Its for Gamers! Its the beginning of something Big!! No, I'm not talking about a giant green gaming leprechaun, I'm talking about the 'Gamer Expo' this October! So, what to expect...? There will be 4 big LAN war arenas for all the multi player heads where they can take part in tournaments and win stuff! Check out the new and preview titles in the Demo zone. There will also be tecky stuff to oogle at like 3D gaming telly's and you can even hit the retail area to splash your cash if your in the mood. If that doesn't keep you happy then head over to the Gamer Lounge where ya can chill with a drink and get some grub while ya chat about what to do next. There will be developer talks for those with a keener interest in the games industry and on the last day there will be a big Cos Play where everyone dresses up like a total loony in order to win the top prize, what the hell, its on Halloween day anyway!

Dead Rising - Case West - More Mini DLC for DR2!!

More zombie antics for you today, we do love drooling meat bags... who doesn't eh?! Well, we have had 'Dead Rising 2' Case Zero, we will soon have 'Dead Rising 2' but now there is another! 'Dead Rising 2: Case West'!! That's Frank West to you, I and thousands of zombies in a shopping mall. Ring any bells? The dude out of the first Dead Rising perhaps... Yep, hes coming to the new game and will fit into a co-op role for multi player, cool eh! It will also give the story of what happened to him after the events of DR1. But this isn't a prequel, nor is it meant to be during DR2, its set after it all apparently... sort of kills the suspense on whether Chuck makes it or not through the main game eh... Xbox 360 - Vote for your 'Deal of the Week'!!

Are you always looking at Xbox DLC and thinking 'I'll get it when it goes on sale'? Good, cos now you can make it go on sale!! Over at Major Nelsons site you can see all the fine details or check his direct quote below but basically we are going to be able to choose from a small range of DLC which will then go on sale based on the vote. I imagine that this is a testing phase to see how it works out and if successful it could become the norm! Judging from the snap shot here and the ones over on Major's blog this will come into place after the next dashboard update. So, cheapskates unite and vote your tight asses off soon as, I know I will!

Kinect - Try it out in Dublin for free!!

Here's another one for the Irish!! If you are interested in Kinect and want to give it a shot then here's your chance... if you couldn be arsed that is. Xbox.IE has announced that Kinect will be going on the road as of today around various parts of Ireland: "XBOX KINECT ROADSHOW KICKS OFF AT THE NATIONAL PLOUGHING CHAMPIONSHIP this Tuesday and Wednesday. Experience the controller-free fun of Kinect for the first time this week ahead of its launch on 10th November. Xbox Kinect will also be present in Blanchardstown SC on Friday 24th September, Dundrum SC on Saturday 25th September and Pavilions SC in Swords on Sunday 26th September."
Cant say I'm all that interested myself but if you have the gumption then head along and try it out, oh... and get someone to video tape you playing so you can share your lameness with those not lucky enough to witness it first hand!
