Bethesda are one of the best developers out there for DLC, they gave great content support to Fallout 3 and did it all at reasonable prices (unlike some activision games - ehem!). This looks set to continue for Fallout NV. There are several different add-ons coming, with 'Dead Money' (which is currently available), being the first to hit and you can see in the vid below the trailer for one such DLC - 'Honest Hearts'. It boasts new weapons, terrain, perks and of course baddies.

Its nearly the 4th of May so - May the fourth be with you! If your an XBox 360 owner and you like zombies then the video below will salivate your blood lust. It features some Horror movie Greats (and not so great) appearances, most notably George Romero, Mr Day/Dawn/Night and other less successful times of the Dead movies, Legend! But - Buffy?? Seriously?? Could they not have gotten Bruce Cambell or someone else, arg! At least theres no Twilight twats I guess. Anyway, the Escalation pack is looking seriously good and for me this seals the deal, I simply must get it now... grumble. I hate the price (1200msp) but at least it looks like were getting a lil more than usual for our buck with this 'Call of the Dead' feature. If you hate the living dead idea then this changes nothing for ya, its just an over priced bunch of maps... but I luv the walking dead, so I'll see ya all in Zombieville, with my Boomstick!!
In an interview today, creator of the cult classic, America McGee's Alice, has revealed that its follow up, Madness Returns, will include a DLC code to redeem the original title for free. As of June 2010 Alice had sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide in the ten years since its release on the PC and can now be experienced on the Xbox 360 and PS3 via this much welcomed DLC. Although not official this maybe an indication of how EA will use its online pass feature, perhaps enticing gamers to purchase older titles rather than waiting for them to hit the pre-owned shelves. There is also something for those amongst you who like playing "dress up" with your Avatars, with further DLC for Alice in the form of dresses with special powers. Alice: Madness Returns from EA is released on PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Mac on June 14th in the USA and June 16th in Europe.

This will be the last Mass Effect 2 DLC, aptly named: Arrival - and it is available as of today (March 29th, 2011) on xbox (560msp), PS3 and PC ($6.99)! This is basically the bridge to Mass Effect 3 so it is more than an add on, its virtually compulsory if you want to be in the loop! Good luck with getting obliterated, its going to be lonely without you all... sob! But it does mean more free whisky for me - Score!

They have already announced a free co-op add on coming soon for Reach and now a new, not so free map pack - 'The Noble Map pack', due for download on November 30th. It will go for 800msp, (which is allot cheaper than COD maps) and will contain 3 new playgrounds - Tempest, Anchor 9 and Breakpoint. Tempest – "Though we may never fully understand these devices, it is not our nature to leave ancient stones unturned." This abandoned shoreline facility bends both sea and sky to an unnatural purpose, but the ground itself has quickly become another all too familiar battlefield. Though the two opposing symmetrical bases may never reveal their ancient purpose, both now offer makeshift shelter and access to strategic routes perfectly suited for small and large scale skirmishes alike. Tempest supports 8 – 16 players and offers a variety of modes including Free for All, Team Slayer, Team Objective and Big Team Battle. Tempest also provides players with a huge Forge palette, allowing them to create new custom map variants that can be shared with the community-at-large.
Anchor 9 – "Orbital dockyards provide rapid refueling and repairs for a variety of UNSC vessels." Within the confines of this low orbit dry-dock, UNSC craft undergo rapid repair and rearmament in support of the enduring war effort. But for the small squads of infantry who now fight over the mirrored interior hallways and open central hangar bay, this platform no longer provides any safe harbor – whether the close quarters combat is occurring inside or out of its artificial gravitational field. Anchor 9 allows 2-8 players to face off in game variants including Free for All, Team Slayer and Team Objective.
Breakpoint – "ONI officials believe the data buried within this artifact is key to our survival." Atop this icy precipice, the Invasion continues. These modular archaeological labs were never intended to withstand such a large scale onslaught of Covenant military power, but the information being extracted here may prove vital to humanity's survival. In response to the imminent Covenant threat, UNSC ground and air assets have been deployed to bolster entrenched Spartan countermeasures. This dig site must yield salvation, or it will become a grave. Breakpoint offers multiplayer mayhem for 8-16 players, and supports the Invasion and Big Team Battle game variants.

But you can make that decision for yourself when you play it. The Sacrifice will be free for PC and Mac players but will be 560msp on the Xbox, which sucks shriveled up zombie balls! We are really ramping up for Halloween with all the ghoul gear today! Check out the pin up boy for the Undead Nightmare DLC, look familiar? Its John Marston... as a zombie, duh! Anyway the pack will include new weapons, animals, weird mythical creatures and of course zombies! It will also have some new multi player modes and did I mention it has ZOMBIES!!! It will be out for the PS3 and Xbox soon, don't have a release date as of yet but I'm guessing it will be around Halloween. So, are you ready for more Zombies, rootin tootin style???
Left 4 Dead is probably one of the best frantic paced zombie based games ever and a dammed good shooter in its own right! Valve have been very consistent with their DLC and this time we are getting something to please both L4D1 and L4D2 fans. As all us Dead Heads know poor Bill bought the farm in the series as it stands... but you can change all that and decide for yourself which of the original four end up as zombie chowder in 'The Sacrifice'. It tells the story of how the old meet the new hero's and all the zombie and guts filled fun in between. The DLC will be usable in the single player and all multi player modes for either of the games, class eh! Its free to PC gamers (yay Valve!) but will cost 560msp on Xbox (Booo Microsoft!) and will be here well in time for the ghoul fest of Halloween when it hits on October 5th! I do love the season of spookiness!

I imagine that this is a testing phase to see how it works out and if successful it could become the norm! Check out the vid below for all the features, its a right scruffy collection... but yet again it is pretty much all online additions, nothing new for the single player really. Though it does have a bit more to it than the last DLC, gambling and horse racing being the most notable. Its time to get 'Durrrty' as Irish would say...

The pack is said to contain six new co-op missions that will allow 2-4 players kick ass and plug holes into dirty vermin, along with new XP challenges, achievements/trophies and fixes for frustrating and sometime hilarious bugs that are riddled throughout the game. Hopefully they will leave in the funnier bugs like the flying cowboys, cougar man and the amazing donkey woman. I saw a cow fly during the week but I really want to see if the pigs can fly too. Bacon for breakfast boys!!
