All seasoned gamers know what 'E3' is because its where we get our first real taste of the goody games to come and quite often 'surprise' announcements are revealed. Its like a gamer Christmas... in the summer... with lots of weirdos doing Cos Play. As a lil run up to the event we thought that you guys and gals would like to see just a few of the hyped games that are set to strip off and run naked at the event so check out the vids below.
Don't forget E3 kicks off for June 6th and will be covered across all gaming news sites. Personally I recommend the following to watch it on - Epic Battle Axe - Giant Bomb - G4TV - and Gametrailers.com. Also, Spike TV will be covering the event in a more 'exclusive' manner. Of course we will also be doing our best to bring you the highlights. God, I love games!!
I am currently going back to Oblivion at the moment to close all those big red portals and save the lands of Ababbadabbadooo or whatever it's called, so I shall be a hero and rich and everyone will love me... oh did I mention Im doing all this as a vampire, which is more of an STD than a way of life in the game, and I fully intend on draining the population like a bloated tick when I am king! What a great thing these games are, they totally take you away and submerge your big dumb brain into a land where anything is possible. Well now the next Elder Scrolls game, Skyrim, is coming on November 11th (2011) for more brain dunking. This time around its prettier, bigger, more varied and it has massive dragons in it, plus the king of open world games Bethesda have used all their great knowledge from the Fallout games that they produced in the recent past to add perks, better dual combat and even a level editor for modders. It simply cant go wrong, Id bet my crotch gauntlets on it!! Any of you that remember Duke Nukem will be wetting you pantaloons in anticipation of this game as it has only taken over twelve years to make. Well the press reveal was held in strip clubs called 'Titty City' and G4's Adam Sessler got a good interview with Randy Pitchford of Gearbox, the new and some what original owner of the Duke... its a perfect example of things coming full circle. We posted awhile ago about what the government in California is trying to do to the games industry. It will soon be legal to buy weed in the big C but you can go to prison for selling games to minors... genius eh. As we pointed out before, if California gets hit with this restriction it will influence the game companies to stay away from making mature type games, so kiss goodbye to GTA5!
Its only one state you say! Yes, but what happens on the West coast of the USA spreads to the East pretty quickly and then to the rest of the globe, just look at the 'Smoking Ban'. Freedom my ass!!! It pains me to say this but it looks like one of my Hero's is partially to blame for allot of this - Oi Arnie - get your ass to mars! Cos your starting to piss us off here on earth. That right, the Terminator is on the case, and is responsible for appealing this with the Supreme Court, which is disappointing, as you would imagine he might be on our side... but hes not!
