More Red Dead Redemption news for ya. Some multi player modes are revealed in this vid below, I like the look of that 'Last man standing' feature! Also it has been reported that there is a 30 minute live action promo movie called 'The Proposition' (click for in depth details) to arrive before the release of the game and will be directed by John Hillcoat (The Road and various music videos including Therapy). It has a great cast with John Hurt, Ray Winston, and music by Nick Cave along with other memorable names. It is to air on May 15th in the states. Cool eh!! It seems to be fashionable to do this sort of thing, Assassins Creed 2, Fear 3, Alan Wake, Ghost Recon, and several others... personally I think its great.
Unless you'v been on a different planet or perhaps you just hate Halo, you will know to expect the Beta on May 3rd (make sure ya have the Halo Reach disc as you will need it for access). Well it looks like there are lots of undead topics this week... Dead rising 2 has announced Co-Op play allowing two pals to paint the town red, literally. Early reports of this new mode are disappointing but many suggestions have been made to capcom and hopefully they will have time to add some spice to this much needed feature. There is also news of a 'prequel demo' to be released in the run up to the release of DR2, this is said to contain info on what happened to Frank West, our photo/zombie slaying hero from the first Dead Rising and to introduce our new macho man, Chuck. He is a Family Man with a sad past, Bike racer extraordinaire and now a professional Zombie killer... I like him already! Check out the demo below for a little more insight on our new Dude.
Well meat heads here's some pleasantly surprising zombie news for ya! Get ready to become walking snack boxes again cos the previously delayed add on for L4D2 is coming this week... Thursday April the 22nd to be exact. 'The Passing' will contain a new campaign, new baddies, new weapons and help crossover the cast of Left 4 Dead one into the new Left 4 Dead two... But Valve have promised that there is MORE!!!! A whole new game type called 'Mutations'. There are up to 20 objective types within this mode and will circulate from week to week using all the map locations to date in L4D2. One example is 'Chainsaw mode' which will probably end up similar to a reenactment of the Evil Dead, sweet! The DLC will cost Xbox 360 owners 560msp and PC users get it for free, cheers Valve, screw you greedy Microsoft... either way its a must get I recon!
