Sony are setting up a special little demo area in Dublin (Ireland) called 'The Hub' where you can just walk in and play the new games with the Move. There are also competitions and the like to take part in. If your passing 50 South William Street be sure to drop in and give it a go. Also, below is Sony's newest advert for the Move and it seems like a metaphor for kicking casual type games in the daddy bags (especially Nintendo). Good on ya Sony, glad to see this new approach towards the more mature gamer!
Halo Reach sold over $200 million worth in its first day!! No shit! That's allot of money and it looks like the game has been worth every penny for those who got it. We here at Reaper Towers are loving it, although, Bungie still hasn't fixed the players dropping from online games problem, they should have done it like COD MW2 and just allow new players to replace them, but they didn't and its annoying, Grrr. With that frustration aside, its great so far!
Also, some people have been reporting that their Disc for Reach isn't working and its giving them an error on the new slim xbox models, bummer! These poor feckers have been advised to contact Microsoft's customer support and they will help you with the problem. - "We are aware of a very small number of customers reporting that their copy of Halo: Reach is causing a "disc read" error. Those affected should contact Microsoft customer support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX for troubleshooting assistance."

On the 21st of September you better have a good bath and wash behind those ears, cos the Liars and Cheats DLC pack is escaping from Rockstar and its well dirty! Check out the vid below for all the features, its a right scruffy collection... but yet again it is pretty much all online additions, nothing new for the single player really. Though it does have a bit more to it than the last DLC, gambling and horse racing being the most notable. Its time to get 'Durrrty' as Irish would say...
The Dublin launch of Halo took place last night in the Odeon and saw a lot of drunken people taking advantage of a free bar laid on by Microsoft but more importantly there were plenty of hot chicks there, er… I mean there was plenty of Halo Reach to be played. Also in attendance was a Celebrity team made up of RTE presenter - Baz Ashmawy, 98fm DJ - Steve Cooper, Irish rugby player - Jamie Heaslip and the big cheese of the night form the ‘Wire’ – ‘Ultraviolet’ and the upcoming ‘Thor’ movie, Mr. Ibris Elba whom was dutifully followed around by his bodyguard… yep, no shit! (But we still managed to meet him thanks to Deadman IRL's hard neck and big camera). The celebs unfortunately got their asses handed to them with a score of 74 – 11 or something similar… hard luck lads, best get in a bit of practice in case of a next time. The winning team that walked home with some Halo swag and the new Halo Xbox were the ‘Shamrock Kings’ team, so congratulations on that one Dudes.
In true Reaper Gaming style we missed the actual showdown cos we were too busy drinking and smoking outside while having a blast chatting to our good buddies from GMR FM and TecTV101, but we did manage to get some snaps of the night between drinks! The night was a great success and allot of fun, so thanks Mr DK for getting us into the event.

They say in space no one can hear you scream... well now you can be heard screaming, burping, farting or whatever because your buddies will be right behind you as you team up for some multi player action in Dead Space 2. It looks like they have taken a leaf out of Left 4 Dead's multiplayer style book, but this is no bad thing and it seems as if this is going to be a slower but tense experience than the normal shooters. Looking forward to this, my blood lust is building for some cloak and dagger action. Get to hang with your Bros and like... kill Dudes, medieval style man! The old multi player looks cool too! I doubt there will be any great reveal about the whole 'Adam and Eve do Aliens' thing, I recon they will keep that for AC3. Coming this November!

Microsoft have promised some nice new changes coming for the 360 around the release of Kinect next month. A new dash is on the cards and you can get a taste of this in the vid below. A better chat system is a welcome tweak and for gamers in the USA 'Hulu' will be another nice addition. Of course the gold membership is increasing as a result in most regions but thankfully and surprisingly not in Ireland. Where ever your from the vid below will be of interest to you, its very loud so don't burst an eardrum! Love the ending too, bit of a L33T H4x0r thing goin on...
