Left 4 Dead 2 - Midnight Riders - Metal Death!!!

Well, today's the day! Left 4 Dead 2 is out and I have my copy just waiting to overheat my Xbox. The game now has its own Metal Band 'Midnight Riders' which you will get a hint of in the 'Dark Carnival' campaign, keep those eyes peeled. The rumours are that they may be a bigger part of L4D2 in the form of future DLC... that would be very cool! I can just see it now, smashing Zombies with a microphone and throwing Hi-hats for decapitations... They even have their own web site, check it out here. You can also hear them here... yes! I said hear them, as in music! Zombies and Metal... does it get any better?

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Multiplayer Trailer

Lots of meaty death for ya here, BF Bad Company 2 is shaping up nicely from the looks of it but will it be good enough to tempt Modern Warfare 2 players away from their killing sprees? I don't think so... but still looking forward to BFBC2. Its war overload!!

Pandemic Studios - Gone to pixel heaven!

Awww... If you loved the 'Mercenaries' and 'Star Wars Battlefront' games then this is going to disappoint you, Pandemic Studios are on their way out. EA have confirmed that they are laying off 200 people from the Pandemic LA studio as it is set for closure. EA are cleaning house lately and some of its other studios have suffered layoffs and it seems that they are trying to consolidate their studios. Pandemic Australia already suffered the chop with the Batman Title 'Dark Knight' being put on ice but EA seem confident that the upcoming 'Saboteur' and 'C&C 4 Tiberian Twilight' will still go ahead... expect delays though I recon!! Ah well, RIP Pandemic, you shall be missed.

This is quite frightening actually... mainly because I remember playing games just like this back in da day. Just makes me glad that things have improved, that said they were very exciting games at the time! I feel like grandpa Simpson 'In my day we only had 3 colours and square pixels and a ten mile walk to school', Arg, I am old...

Just like Halo, Dante's Inferno is branching into the Animated world. It should compliment the game nicely and I predict it to become a success, maybe more so than the Halo animated offerings... ?! Either way I like the cut of Dante's Jib!
