With Gears 3 on the way the clever chaps at Epic have decided to give you some Gear for cheap! Starting today you can get all Gears 2 related DLC on Xbox Live for half price which is a pretty good deal for anyone who didn't previously acquire any DLC, if you did... bummer! The 'All Fronts' promotion will only last for a short period of time so best make the best of it! For a full rundown of whats on offer you can go to the official GOW site here. Enjoy, Gear heads!
Well, mystery solved... sort of. The Dude, Mr. Cliff Bleszinski has commented on the appearance of our favourite Xbox Gears of War bad asses appearing in Lost planet 2... here's what he said about the Epic/Capcom crossover: "We're mutual fans of each other's work and crossovers are darned cool so we sent over the Marcus and Dom models for implementation" When asked on how much involvement the Gears will have in the game he Dudd'ed out this:"I can't speak about the controls for LP2," & "Anything else about how it's accessed or used in game remains to be revealed. I'll leave that to Capcom's capable hands." Ooooo What next? Maybe Lara Croft will get it on with Master Chief?! Sweet!!!
"Oi! Marcus, get out of my Lost Planet 2 and take that ape Dom with ya!!! You've got your own successful game to star in!" - Actually, I think its pretty cool that the 'gears' get to go skiing, everyone needs a holiday! Wonder what its all about though... Hmmm...
Wouldn't mind this on my wall, or in my neighbours skull... Here's some detail - "The replica is 40 inches in length, weighs approximately 15 pounds, and features working LED effects. The estimated available ship date is February 2010."
