Drinking and fighting go hand in hand for some of you, why not have weekend off marauding through your local city centre like some sex crazed Nordic invader and punch people on the bugle in a virtual environment? You’ll save even more money seeing as you won’t have to pay bail.

If you haven’t already been swept up in the new CoD wave here is your chance. In this outing the best selling series of all time puts you into the murky goings on of the Cold War and its secretive battles. Ah, don’t you miss those good old days of wondering if a massive A-Bomb was going to drop on your bonce?






Broken Sword Trilogy; PC at Play.com
£3.99/$6.59/4.53 Euro

A personal favourite of mine at an unbelievable price, one of the finest adventure series of games to grace any gaming platform. From the streets of Paris to sweltering jungles these three games have it all, cracking voice acting, graphics that still stand the test of time and brilliant storylines. I recommend this one highly.






The House of the Dead: Overkill; Wii at Amazon UK
£10.83/$17.89/12.29 Euro

If there is one thing the Wii does well it’s Rail Shooters and this one isn’t for the kids. A Grindhouse blast fest, full of guns, girls, gore and one of the most twisted endings in any game.

Portal 2 - Sexy Boots trailer!

Must be nice to bounce around like Oprah's boobs... well now you can with some smart booties! Check out the vid below for some sexy footwear that will save you from a hundred foot drop. Paris Hilton should give it a go... without the boots...

Portal 2 TV ad - Skynet they aint!

Check out this nice and funny lil TV spot for Portal 2, it features those two retarded but likable robots, that said they make C3-PO and R2D2 look like a right pair of rusty old bolts. The T-1000 however has nothing to worry about. Of course this Laural and Hardy styled duo will be our hosts for the co-op/multiplayer portion of P2 so ya best get used to shining their helmets... oops pardon!

PS3 and PC meet online... Thanks to Portal 2!

Ok, this shit is the bomb!Portal 2 will be cross compatible online between the PC and PS3, Yep! A PS3 owner will now be able to play and chat with a PC player online. Ain't that great?! But it gets better because if you get Portal 2 on the PS3 (Currently - April 21st, 2011) you will get the PC version free with it... yep, free! Ya hear that Microsoft?? It's all made possible through 'Steam' Valve's game market place and general game platform. Once ya reg up on steam you can slip between platforms to play the game as the steam cloud will hold all your saved progress and you can mix it up between PC and PS3 online play, fookin fab eh!

We have wanted this for a long time and despite the slight advantage that PC players will have by using a keyboard and mouse, it shall render a better experience for all gamers involved... now sort it out for Left 4 Dead please valve. As for Microsoft... stop being so frickin greedy and let some free stuff onto the xbox, like steam... Then perhaps we can get a good old three way going! Wouldn't that kick ass!!Hopefully a fire has been lit under the industry with this and other developers will take heed.

Portal 2 - Co-Op trailer!! Two dummies are better than one!

Sweet baby Jesus, I love Valve! They can do no wrong. Portal was feckin great, Portal 2 looks feckin greater, and now they have a Co-Op mode, all that is left to do is dip the game in gold and perfection is achieved!! Check out the trailer for this mode below, looks like a robot 'Dumb and Dumber' thing going on. They must workout!!

Portal 2 - More gameplay footage.

Check out more action as 'Steve Merchant' (The Office, Extras) errr, I mean 'Wheatley' guides you through the footage... Word is that Portal 2 will be out on the 9th of February, but being a Valve title I still recon the old 'Its ready when its ready' line will override any release date. I could have used one of these portal guns on the bus last week, I was dying to go to the toilet! Shoot, drop, portal plop!

Portal 2 - Meet Wheatley... the friendly AI.

Hmm, a robot eye that talks with an English accent... seems familiar somehow... ehem - Halo. It seems Wheatly is one of a few unique characters we will meet in Portal 2 and already I find him annoying... Wonder if you can launch him into the sky with the grav gun?!

Portal 2 - Chell - Hot or Not?

In terms of Gamer Babes there have been a few, from the hot totty Lara Croft to the hair wearing chick of Bayonetta, women are a part of gaming whether they want to be or not and for mostly the wrong reasons, which is why dudes love games... makes sense now eh! Portal's chick 'Chell' never really struck me as one of the gang, but perhaps this will change in Portal 2... what ya recon?
